Known History
A remaining part of the Buff Log Book shows that the car stayed in Worcestershire until at least July 1960. Sometime in the 70’s it went to Guernsey and later to Jersey. Reg. No. J7905. Whilst in Jersey a reconditioned 24hp engine was fitted in 2003, in 2006 the car was taken off the road and stored. Recommissioned in 2014 and put up for sale on mainland UK. Sold and reregistered under its original number.
Recent Restorations.
2014 Front axle and rear axle rebuilt incl. 3.54:1 diff.
Gear box and clutch rebuilt.
Brake system overhauled incl. conversion to twin leading shoes
on the front.
New radiator and thermostat fitted.
Flexible engine mounts fitted
2015
Windscreen, window frames and dumpers re chromed.
Generator modified for solid state regulator.
Indicators fitted and all lamps changed to LED.
Water pump overhauled, fan replaced and temperature gauge
added.
2016
Radiator stone guard fitted.
Existing starter replaced by ‘Powerlite’ model and ‘Optima’ battery fitted giving
improved starting.
Klaxon replaced by new ‘Sparton’ model
2017
Existing front 12 leaf spring replaced by new 10 leaf.
Front shock absorbers rebuilt.
