Some shots of the busy Club stand at the NEC 2015
A big "thank you" to Bob Collett and the team!
What a good three days at the Classic Car Show at the NEC; almost 2,500 Classic Cars on show. With 69,000 visitors the halls were packed, making it difficult to walk around, but the cars made everything worthwhile.
Four different vehicles on our stand attracted considerable interest with many questions from the public about the Model ‘A’.
Thanks go to all members who displayed their cars and helped throughout.
Our stand included a very unusual 1930 Depot Hack, sympathetically restored and owned by Terry Dutton, and Dave O’Neill’s 1930 nicely restored Tudor Sedan.
Peter Monk came up from Cornwall with his 1929 Fordor Laudaulet, and Mike Cobell showed his Model ‘A’ Speedster, which was raced by Donald Cobell on Pendine Sands
We now require members who would be willing to show their Model ‘A’ vehicles at the NEC next year. If interested please contact me on 01543 577444.
